BeginnerChairLow impactSuggested: 10 reps

How to do it

  1. Set a sturdy chair with its back against a wall so it cannot slide.
  2. Place your hands on the front edge of the seat and walk your feet back until your body is straight.
  3. Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the edge of the seat.
  4. Press back up until your arms are straight.

Form tips

  • Keep your heels, hips and shoulders in one line throughout.
  • The lower the surface, the harder the push-up.
