Dive bomber push-up

A swooping push-up that dives from an inverted V down past your hands and up into a chest lift, working your shoulders and back.

AdvancedNo equipmentLow impactSuggested: 8 reps

How to do it

  1. Start with your hands and feet on the floor and your hips lifted into an upside-down V.
  2. Bend your elbows and swoop your chest down close to the floor between your hands.
  3. Keep moving forward and straighten your arms to lift your chest.
  4. Reverse the swoop and push your hips back up into the V.

Form tips

  • Keep your hands and feet planted while your body travels between them.
  • Make the movement smooth and continuous like a wave.
  • Take a wider stance if the swoop feels cramped.
