IntermediateDumbbellsLow impactSuggested: 10 reps

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the dumbbells at your shoulders.
  2. Sit your hips back and down into a squat with your chest up.
  3. Drive up out of the squat and use that momentum to press the weights overhead.
  4. Lower the dumbbells back to your shoulders as you begin the next squat.

Form tips

  • Keep your elbows high in the squat.
  • Make it one smooth motion from the bottom of the squat to the press.
