Single-leg glute bridge

A one-legged bridge that makes each glute work on its own and challenges your hip stability.

IntermediateMatLow impactSuggested: 10 reps per side

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Straighten one leg so both thighs stay level.
  3. Push through the heel of the planted foot to lift your hips into a straight line.
  4. Lower slowly, then finish all reps before switching legs.

Work one side, then switch. Timed sets run once per side.

Form tips

  • Keep your hips level as they rise and fall.
  • Press your arms into the floor for extra stability.
