How to do it

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your hands at your chest.
  2. Step one foot back and across behind the other, like a curtsy.
  3. Bend both knees to lower until your front thigh is near parallel to the floor.
  4. Press through your front heel to return to standing, then finish all reps before switching sides.

Work one side, then switch. Timed sets run once per side.

Form tips

  • Keep your hips facing forward as you step across.
