Superman pulls

A face-down pull of your elbows toward your ribs with your chest lifted that strengthens your upper back and lats.

BeginnerMatLow impactSuggested: 12 reps

How to do it

  1. Lie face down and lift your chest and arms slightly, reaching your arms overhead.
  2. Pull your elbows down and back toward your ribs, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  3. Reach your arms long overhead again without letting them touch the floor.
  4. Keep your gaze down and your chest lifted throughout.

Form tips

  • Squeeze your shoulder blades down, not up toward your ears.
  • Lift only a few centimeters to protect your lower back.
