Superman

A face-down lift of the arms and legs that strengthens the muscles along the back of your body.

BeginnerMatLow impactSuggested: 12 reps

How to do it

  1. Lie face down with your arms stretched out in front of you and your legs straight.
  2. Squeeze your glutes and lift your arms, chest and legs a few centimeters off the floor.
  3. Hold briefly at the top, reaching long through your fingers and toes.
  4. Lower back down with control.

Form tips

  • Keep your gaze on the floor so your neck stays in line with your spine.
  • Think about reaching long rather than lifting high.
