Tuck jumps

An explosive vertical jump that pulls both knees up toward your chest to build power and challenge your conditioning.

AdvancedNo equipmentHigh impactSuggested: 10 reps

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.
  2. Dip into a quarter squat and swing your arms back.
  3. Jump straight up and drive both knees toward your chest.
  4. Release your legs and land softly with bent knees, then go again.

Form tips

  • Bring your knees up to your hands rather than reaching down.
  • Do squat jumps instead if you need a lower-intensity version.
