Foam roller hamstrings

Roll the backs of your thighs over a foam roller to loosen hamstrings that feel tight from sitting or running.

BeginnerFoam rollerLow impactSuggested: 45 sec

How to do it

  1. Sit with the roller under your thighs and your hands behind you.
  2. Lift your hips so your legs rest on the roller.
  3. Roll from just above your knees up to your sit bones.
  4. Keep your legs relaxed and breathe slowly.

Form tips

  • Turn your toes in or out to reach different lines of the muscle.
  • Avoid rolling directly behind the knee.
