BeginnerNo equipmentLow impactSuggested: 20 sec per side

How to do it

  1. Stand tall and place your left heel on the floor a small step in front of you, toes up.
  2. Bend your right knee slightly and rest your hands on your left thigh.
  3. Hinge forward from your hips with a long, flat back.
  4. Stop when you feel a stretch behind your left thigh and hold.
  5. Stand up and switch legs.

Work one side, then switch. Timed sets run once per side.

Form tips

  • Lead with your chest instead of rounding your back.
  • Do not press on your knee; keep your hands on your thigh.
