Heel taps

A lying side-to-side reach toward each heel with your shoulders lifted that works your obliques and abs.

BeginnerMatLow impactSuggested: 30 sec

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet flat and arms by your sides.
  2. Curl your head and shoulders off the floor.
  3. Reach one hand toward that heel by bending sideways at the waist.
  4. Switch sides with a smooth side-to-side motion.

Alternate sides with each rep.

Form tips

  • Keep your shoulders lifted the whole time.
  • Bring your feet closer to your hips to shorten the reach.
