Wrist flexor stretch

A simple stretch for the inside of the forearm, handy after push-ups, planks or a long day of typing.

BeginnerNo equipmentLow impactSuggested: 20 sec per side

How to do it

  1. Stand tall and reach your left arm straight out in front of you at shoulder height.
  2. Turn your palm up and let your fingers point toward the floor.
  3. Use your right hand to gently draw your left fingers back toward you.
  4. Hold when you feel a stretch along the inside of your forearm, then switch arms.

Work one side, then switch. Timed sets run once per side.

Form tips

  • Keep your elbow straight but not locked.
  • Use light pressure; this stretch should never feel sharp.
